The Economic Development Authority’s primary purpose is to promote the growth our community.
The Economic Development Authority (EDA) partners with Community Development of Morrison County and the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) in funding options, as well as having its own revolving loan funding sources available. The Economic Development Authority has lands available with water and sewer services available near US Highway 10/State Highway 371 and also has rail access.
Applicants are highly encouraged to apply for the Federal Small Business Association (SBA) and State Small Business Emergency Loans through Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED). State loan applications must be made through certified lenders. There are three lenders serving Morrison County: Entrepreneur Fund, Initiative Foundation, and North Central Economic Development Association (NCEDA).

On May 11th, the City of Little Falls’ application for Minnesota Investment Fund assistance through the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development was approved. Lakeshirts will be receiving a grant in the amount of $450,000 to assist with the purchase of machinery and equipment to aid in expanding their business here in Little Falls. This expansion will result in the creation of 78 new jobs for our community!
